  • ABS Behavioral Health Services Social Skills groups will provide recurring exposure to others in a group setting where our aim will be facilitating social skills, language skills and development, initiation proficiency, and cooperative play skills.
  • Social Skills Groups provide individuals with the opportunity to meet new people and participate in a variety of interactive activities.
  • Skills are taught by peer modeling, video modeling, role play, individualized instruction, and self-monitoring.
  • Once skills are taught, higher-level social skills are targeted along with the maintenance and generalization of skills
